Therapy For Your Emotional Well-Being Through Pregnancy & Postpartum
You Matter. Your Baby Matters.
Motherhood….
Can be beautiful — and it can also feel overwhelming, isolating, and heavier than you expected.
You may feel anxious in ways you’ve never experienced before. You might replay your birth over and over in your mind. You may feel disconnected, exhausted, irritable, or unsure of yourself. Perhaps you’re navigating infertility, grieving a loss, or struggling with the transition into motherhood.
If this season feels harder than you imagined, you are not broken — and you are not alone.

The Bloom Perinatal
Pregnancy & Postpartum Therapy Approach in Missouri and Florida
At Bloom Perinatal Therapy, women navigating pregnancy, postpartum challenges, infertility, or birth trauma receive personalized, compassionate support tailored to their unique experiences. I use a holistic approach supporting the mind-body connection and incorporates evidence-based practices, cognitive-behavioral interventions, and person-centered support to promote emotional well-being during all stages of the reproductive journey.
What is a Perinatal Therapist?
“Perinatal” refers to the time during pregnancy and the first year after birth. A perinatal therapist understands the unique emotional, hormonal, physical, and identity changes that happen during this stage of life. Therapy with me is collaborative and personalized. Together, we create a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and begin to reconnect with yourself. You deserve care from someone who truly understands this stage of life.
Compassionate Support for Pregnancy, Postpartum, Birth Trauma and Infertility
When you become a mom, you may imagine coming home with your baby feeling happiness, love, and an instant connection. But many new mothers experience challenges in the postpartum period. Whether you’re struggling with sadness, anxiety, breastfeeding difficulties, trouble connecting with your baby, or worries about returning to work, I can provide individualized, tailored tools and support to help you feel more confident and become the mother you imagined—and want to be—for your baby.
No one expects to face challenges with becoming pregnant or to experience loss when all you want is to be a mom. Infertility and loss can often feel like being stuck and helpless while the world moves forward around you. For many women, motherhood is a deeply held dream, and when it doesn’t come easily, life can feel unfair and overwhelming. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be truly heard while we work together to process your feelings and navigate this difficult journey.
Experiencing something new for the first time—like pregnancy and birth—can feel overwhelming. Therapy can provide support, evidence-based guidance, and a space to process your worries and concerns, helping you feel more confident during pregnancy and as you plan for the birth of your baby. Unfortunately, birth trauma can happen, and for mothers who have experienced it, trauma-focused therapy with validation and understanding can be an important step toward healing and moving forward.

Hello, I’m Andrea, the therapist behind Bloom.
My own journey into motherhood has led me to empower and help women through every stage—pregnancy, postpartum, loss and infertility.
Each stage brings its own unique challenges, which can feel overwhelming and leave you searching for clarity and relief. While these experiences can be difficult, they also offer opportunities for growth, self-awareness, and discovering your inner strengths. It is an honor to help you feel supported, heard, empowered, and to remind you that you are never alone on your motherhood journey.
