Motherhood….

Can be beautiful, but it can also feel overwhelming, isolating, and heavier than you expected. You may spend hours Googling symptoms, worry constantly about your baby's well-being, replay your birth experience in your mind, or wonder why motherhood feels so much harder than you expected.

Perhaps you’re navigating infertility, grieving a loss, or struggling with the transition into motherhood.

If this season feels harder than you imagined, you deserve a place where you can talk honestly about what you're experiencing without judgment.

Bloom Perinatal Therapy provides compassionate, evidence-based support for postpartum depression and anxiety, birth trauma, pregnancy concerns, fertility challenges, and loss for women throughout Missouri and Florida.

A Holistic, Evidence-Based Approach to Perinatal Therapy

Therapy at Bloom considers the whole person—not only your symptoms. Your birth experience, relationships, physical recovery, sleep, feeding journey, support system, identity, and previous experiences can all influence how you feel during pregnancy and postpartum.

My approach combines evidence-based strategies, including cognitive-behavioral interventions and mindfulness, with person-centered, trauma-informed care. Together, we can work toward helping you feel more grounded, understand what you're experiencing, and develop tools that support both your emotional well-being and everyday life.

What is a Perinatal Therapist?

Postpartum-Therapy-Missouri.jpg.png

A perinatal therapist specializes in the emotional and mental health needs that can arise throughout the reproductive and motherhood journey. This can include support during pregnancy and postpartum, as well as experiences related to fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and the transition into motherhood.

These experiences can involve much more than symptoms of anxiety or depression. Hormonal and physical changes, relationships, identity, previous experiences, birth and feeding experiences, sleep, and the expectations you had for motherhood can all influence how you feel.

Therapy with me is collaborative and personalized. Together, we create space to understand what you're experiencing, identify what you need, and develop tools that support your emotional well-being while honoring your individual experiences, values, and choices.

Therapy That Honors Your Experience

You deserve therapy that considers the whole picture—not just a list of symptoms. At Bloom, I understand that pregnancy, birth, postpartum, fertility challenges, and loss can affect your emotional well-being, relationships, identity, and how you experience motherhood.

Our work together is individualized to you. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly about what you're experiencing, better understand your thoughts and emotions, and develop practical tools that support you in everyday life.

My goal isn't to tell you how you should feel or what motherhood should look like. It's to help you feel heard, supported, and more confident in understanding what you need as you move through this season of your life.

Online Therapy For Moms
Andrea Crafton

Hello, I’m Andrea, the therapist behind Bloom.

As a mother myself, my own journey through motherhood shaped both who I am and the way I support women through pregnancy, postpartum, birth trauma, fertility challenges, and loss.

I know motherhood doesn't always unfold the way we imagined it would. Pregnancy, birth, feeding, fertility, loss, and postpartum can bring complicated emotions alongside the joy—and sometimes women need a place where they can talk honestly about all of it.

That's what I want therapy to feel like. A place where you can bring the thoughts and feelings you may not feel comfortable saying anywhere else and know that you'll be met with compassion rather than judgment.

I believe women deserve to feel heard, informed, and involved in their care. My role isn't to tell you what your journey should look like, but to support you as you make sense of what you're experiencing, discover what you need, and find a path forward that feels right for you.

Bloom Perinatal Therapy is based in Southeast Missouri, serving women in Jackson, Cape Girardeau, and surrounding communities, with online therapy available throughout Missouri and Florida.
