Postpartum Therapy For Moms in MO and FL

You Are Not Failing- You Are Adjusting to Motherhood

The postpartum period is one of the most transformative seasons of a woman’s life. It can be beautiful, tender, overwhelming, and disorienting — sometimes all in the same day.

You may have imagined feeling constant joy or immediate connection. Instead, you might feel anxious, tearful, irritable, numb, or unlike yourself. You may find your thoughts racing at night. You may feel disconnected from your partner. You may love your baby deeply and still grieve your old life.

If this season feels heavier than expected, you are not failing. You are adjusting to one of the biggest physical, emotional, and identity shifts a person can experience.

Postpartum therapy offers a space where you do not have to pretend everything is fine.

Women need a private place they can go to talk, to cry, to be angry, to be by themselves, to rediscover who they are, what they need and how they can get it.”

Birth Trauma Group Therapy

Birth Trauma Group Therapy

Giving birth can be an incredible experience, but for many mothers, it can also include unexpected trauma. Birth trauma can happen with emergency interventions, difficult labor, or complications, and the emotional impact can last long after your baby arrives. You may experience flashbacks, anxiety, sadness, difficulty bonding with your baby, or fear around future pregnancies.

Birth Trauma Group Therapy offers an online safe, supportive space where you can share your experiences with other mothers who understand what you’ve been through.

Group sessions combine trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and peer support to help you process your experience, reduce stress, and begin to heal. Sharing your story and learning from others can be an important step toward reclaiming your confidence, connection, and peace as a mother.
