Therapy for Infertility: Support for Your Emotional Journey
Compassionate, Individualized Therapy for Women Navigating Infertility, IVF, or Pregnancy Loss
Guiding and supporting women through the emotional journey of infertility in Missouri and Florida.
Supporting Women Facing Infertility…
Trying to conceive can be one of life’s most exciting experiences — but it can also be deeply stressful, overwhelming, and isolating. For many women and couples, infertility brings a mix of hope, grief, anxiety, and frustration that can feel impossible to manage alone.
At Bloom Perinatal Therapy, I provide infertility therapy and fertility counseling. My goal is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can process difficult emotions, navigate the uncertainty of fertility treatments, and find support during this challenging journey.
Understanding Infertility and the Emotional Impact
Infertility affects more than just your ability to conceive. It impacts your emotional well-being, relationships, self-esteem, and daily life.
Anxiety and worry about fertility outcomes
Feelings of grief, loss, or disappointment
Stress and emotional fatigue during IVF, IUI, or other treatments
Resentment, guilt, or shame about not conceiving “naturally”
Relationship strain with partners, family, or friends
Isolation as others around them conceive easily
These feelings are normal. Experiencing these feelings does not mean you are weak — it means you are human.
Thoughtful, Integrative Therapy for Infertility
I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore the emotional impact of infertility. My approach combines:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To manage anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and depressive symptoms
Mindfulness and stress reduction techniques: To regulate the nervous system during fertility treatments
Person-centered, empathetic support: Honoring your unique fertility journey
Holistic strategies: Integrating mind-body approaches, coping skills, and emotional processing
Support for informed decision-making: Helping you navigate fertility options with clarity and confidence
Therapy can help you manage the emotional ups and downs of infertility, reduce stress that may affect treatment, and improve your overall mental health. Infertility is not just a physical experience—it can deeply affect your emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of self. Supportive therapy helps you process grief, stay grounded, and feel empowered in your journey.
Why Therapy for Infertility Matters
You Don’t Have to Go Through Infertility Alone
Infertility can feel isolating, but you don’t have to face it alone. Emotional support is just as important as medical care, and infertility therapy can help you navigate this journey with more clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.

Postpartum, Pregnancy, Birth Trauma & Infertility Therapy Options
Free Phone Consultation
During a free 15-minute phone consultation, we’ll briefly discuss your concerns, what you’re hoping for support with, and how therapy may help. There’s no pressure—this is simply a chance to connect and see if I’m the right support for you. The consultation also allows time to review scheduling options, fees, and what to expect from therapy.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers a supportive space for women and mothers to meet as needed. These sessions provide the opportunity to explore challenges, express your feelings, learn practical coping strategies, and gain insight into your experiences.
All sessions are held online through a HIPAA-compliant platform, allowing you to access care from the comfort and safety of your own home.
Text-Based Therapy
Text-based therapy offers a flexible and supportive way for women struggling with infertility/loss, are pregnant, or postpartum moms to receive care through secure messaging. This option allows you to connect with your therapist without needing to schedule a traditional session, making it especially helpful during busy or unpredictable seasons of life and motherhood. Text-based therapy is not intended for crisis situations, but it can be a gentle, accessible way to feel supported, understood, and less alone during this season of life.
Postpartum Blooming in Motherhood
Online Support Group
Motherhood in the first year and beyond can feel overwhelming, isolating, and emotionally exhausting—especially when things don’t look the way you expected. This low-cost online postpartum support group offers a safe, supportive space for moms with babies/toddlers ages newborn to 2 years to connect, share real-life experiences, and feel less alone.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You don’t need to “fix” anything. You just need a place where you’re understood.
Join from the comfort of your home, baby in arms if needed, and connect with other moms who truly get it.
Birth Trauma Group Therapy
Giving birth can be an incredible experience, but for many mothers, it can also include unexpected trauma. Birth trauma can happen with emergency interventions, difficult labor, or complications, and the emotional impact can last long after your baby arrives. You may experience flashbacks, anxiety, sadness, difficulty bonding with your baby, or fear around future pregnancies.
Birth Trauma Group Therapy offers an online safe, supportive space where you can share your experiences with other mothers who understand what you’ve been through.
Group sessions combine trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and peer support to help you process your experience, reduce stress, and begin to heal. Sharing your story and learning from others can be an important step toward reclaiming your confidence, connection, and peace as a mother.
